Offered Rebates

Federal Rebates - Existing Homes

The Eco Improvement program aims to reduce the environmental impact of housing by supporting energy-efficient improvements. Apply for a 25% partial refund of your mortgage premium if you’re spending at least $20,000 in energy efficient renovations. This product is available for both home buyers and individual condo buyers.

Provincial Rebates - Existing Homes

The government’s plan is to lower climate-changing emissions by 40% by 2030. We are already making progress but the scale of the climate emergency we are living through demands that we act with urgency. No one person, Indigenous community, or government can turn things around on their own. It will take all of us doing our part to overcome this historic challenge.

New Home Program

Provincial utility companies are advancing energy efficiency in new home construction by helping builders and developers achieve higher levels of the BC Energy Step Code with support through the New Home Program. The program helps lower the costs of incorporating higher energy efficiency in new home construction and building to higher code standards.
